bleh!


I am freaking out a little bit. I am breathing. A panic attack? It's okay. Too many revelations are pushing through my consciousness. I have to go to a show tonight and I just need to calm down.

Tomorrow I go to South Carolina for my Vision Quest. I know all this is necessary, I'm just having trouble dealing with it. Deal, Katie, deal! I am dealing.

May this rain wash me clean.

I hope that you can calm down and have a good vision quest. It sounds amazing actually, though I can see why it would be scary.

Remember - all big changes come with labor pains. it's all coming through all at once, but it will slow down eventually.

Vision Quest is an amazingly powerful thing, though almost everyone I know who's been on one (myself included) felt so let down the day afterwards. It's absolutely nothing like you'd imagine it to be - it will seem like nothing, when even just a week later, you realize it was *everything*.

I'll keep you in my prayers for the next few days. If you happen to see a big black bear, a crow, or a particularly grey-looking coyote, it's just me.
